Armel Le Cléac’h and his 6 teammates aboard Banque Populaire XI are winners this year. Together they brillianlty mastered the tactical and technical challenges of the race. As Armel Le Cléac’h pointed out: « [The race] was full of strategy and maneuvers. It was a great race, we had everything and we are really happy to won» (interviewed by Philippe Eliès for the Telegramme newspaper). Their synergy on board and their mastery of the trimaran made all the difference in this demanding competition.

At Guelt Nautic, we are proud to have played a key role in preparing the boats for this race. Specialized in precision machining, we worked closely with several teams to ensure that each mechanical part we supplied was perfectly tailored to Ultim’s requirements (parts for foil control systems, mast bases, keel or rudder bearings and many other precision parts).
Critical to the boat’s performance, these components are designed and tuned to maximize strength, speed and boat handling.

To see our efforts crowned with success through the performance of these boats is a source of immense pride for our entire team. We’re already looking forward to contributing to the teams’ new exploits at the next major events in the sailing world.
