The Laval-based Actual Leader group and its skipper Yves Le Blevec called on Guelt Nautic’s know-how to machine to the tenth of millimeter a 5-meter long carbon drift.
Thanks to our latest industrial CNC machining equipment, we are able to machine very large parts with an extreme precision.
This center drift will allow their new Ultim trimaran to « fly on the water».
With 14 tons, 31-meter long and 23-meter wide, Actual Ultim 3 was launched on April 13,2021 in the port of Lorient, France. It then reached its home port of La Trinité-sur-Mer two days later.
For the Actual group, this is the third Ultim and the sixth ocean racing boat built in 20 years.
The first major goal for Actual Ultim 3 is the Transat Jacques Vabre, starting from Le Havre in November 2021.
The next ones will be the Route du Rhum 2022 and the Brest Oceans, a solo round-the-world race in 2023.
